A little scoring balance and a lot of resilience from Harris Brotman late on earned Radnor a 6-5 win over Lower Merion Monday night in Central League hockey action.
Brotman made 29 saves, holding off a late comeback attempt by the Aces in a game that Radnor led 6-3 after two periods.
LM’s Anthony LePera scored 52 seconds into the third period, and Brendan Leonard tallied at 12:09 of the final frame to get the Aces close, but Brotman shut the door on their comeback hopes.
DJ Sucher was one of Radnor’s six goalscorers, adding two assists. Jake Rader, Teddy Girton and Jack Miles each tallied a goal and a helper, while Clayton Proctor dished two assists. Luke Winnick and Lyle Rutty also lit the lamp for Radnor.
Schuyler Dillon recorded a hat trick for Lower Merion.
