Dowling’s OT goal gives Interboro Del Val crown

Interboro scored three goals in its three Del Val League field hockey games with Chichester this season. Molly Dowling has two of those tallies.

The most important, though, came Tuesday night at Apichella Field.

Dowling scored in overtime to give the Bucs the Del Val League title with a 1-0 victory over the Eagles.

Dowling converted a pass from Bri Mathis to complete a 5-0-1 run through the league. Lilly Fenstamacher, Sam Shemeluk and Jordan Schreiber turned in a solid defensive effort in front of goalie Moriah Marr, who posted six saves for the shutout.

In the Central League:

Conestoga 8, Lower Merion 0 >> Charlotte de Vries and Meredith Ross combined for seven goals as the Pioneers (16-1, 11-0) went undefeated in league play for the fourth consecutive season.

De Vries tallied four goals and Ross found the back of the cage three times.

Radnor 3, Garnet Valley 0 >> Barb Civitella, Page Lowry and Ava Jacobsen scored in the second half, while the defense did not allow a shot on goal.

Bridget Ellison made 11 saves in goal, while Eileen Armani and Olivia Kingborough had defensive saves for the Jaguars (6-12, 3-8).

Ridley 8, Upper Darby 1 >> Hanna Crowley (three goals, one assist) and Emily Johnston (three goals) showed the way for the Green Raiders.

Tolu Olubajo had the lone goal for the Royals off an assist from Skylar McCullough.

Strath Haven 3, Springfield 1 >> Emily Raech tallied the first goal and freshmen Rory Caulfield and Sarah McAndrews put the game out of reach for the Panthers. Kay Walker (four saves) and Gillian Gunn (one save) split time in goal.

Shannon Gallagher scored for Springfield, while goalie Cam Shea made 14 saves.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Episcopal Academy 5, Agnes Irwin 2 >> Maddie Rehak powered EA (9-4-1, 5-1) with three goals and one assist. Corinne Zanolli chipped in with one goal and one assist.

Julianna Tornetta paced Agnes Irwin with one goal and one assist.
