Glodek takes first, PV completes unbeaten run through Liberty Division

Vikings win twice >> Perkiomen Valley completed an unbeaten run through the PAC’s Liberty Division by handling the Warriors (15-50) in a three-school meet that included North Penn. PV (5-0) outscored the Knights 25-32, who earned a split of the day’s action with their 15-50 win over Methacton.

The Vikes’ Annie Glodek warmed up for defense of her league championship finish in 2016 by covering the Methacton course in 18:37, eight seconds ahead of NP’s Ariana Gardizy (18:45). Anna Price was the Warriors’ first finisher, coming in 15th in 21:21.

Upper Merion 20, Phoenixville 47 >> Natalee Serwatka’s winning run was the highlight for the Phantoms as the Vikings took the next eight spots in the finishing order to run away with the PAC win.

Serwatka covered her home course in 20:33, well ahead of UM’s Morgan Morton (20:55). The only other runner for Phoenixville (3-2) to crack the Top 10 against the Vikes (5-0) was Emma Visnov, 10th overall in 22:11.
