Lattanzi’s 11 digs lead Perk Valley to straight-set victory over OJR

Perkiomen Valley 3, Owen J. Roberts 0 >> The Vikings swept their Senior Day PAC match with the Wildcats by set scores of 25-9, 25-11 and 30-28.

Leading the way for PV were seniors Adrianna Lattanzi (four kills, 11 digs), Alexis Prettyman (two aces, 10 digs) and Hannah Rice (seven kills, three dig). Michelle Frank had four kills, nine digs and one ace for OJR; Chloe Golas added one kill, seven digs and one ace; and Catherine Cervi scored two kills and one block.

Upper Merion 3, Methacton 1 >> After taking the first set, the Warriors were swept out of their PAC match with the Vikings. UM posted set scores of 25-13, 25-21 and 25-18 after Methacton opened with a 25-21 victory.

The statistical stars for Methacton were Rainah Dunham (nine kills, one block), Carli Ginther (nine kills, eight assists, one ace, seven digs, one block), Maggie Welsh (six kills, one block), Ashley Newman (17 digs), Lisa Sortino (six digs), Hannah O’Donnell (three aces, nine digs) and Emma Eglinton (14 assists, four digs),

Daniel Boone 3, Reading 1 >> The Blazers won their Berks Conference match with the Red Knights by set scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-15. Reading got a 28-26 victory in the third set.

Madison Kessler had 19 kills, four aces and two digs for Boone (8-4, 8-8). Keri Kearns added 15 kills, two blocks and four digs; and Devon Haag scored 41 assists, six kills and eight digs.
