Fast start sends Bonner & Prendergast past Bishop McDevitt

Lauren Rockenbach and Nicole Schwindt scored in the first half, and Kayla McLaughlin and Kelli Curran combined for six saves as Bonner & Prendergast blanked Bishop McDevitt, 2-0, in Catholic League action.

Lansdale Catholic 6, Cardinal O’Hara 0 >> Kerry Patterson stopped 15 shots for the Lions, but Kate Henesey’s four markers powered a six-goal outburst in the first half for LC.

In the Central League:

Penncrest 1, Radnor 0 >> Olivia Mancarella scored in the first half, and Bryn McLaughlin made five saves as the Lions (9-1-2 5-1-2 posted their ninth clean sheet of the season.

Strath Haven 2, Haverford 0 >> Lizzie King set up goals by Morgan Crain and Paige Gillespie four minutes apart in the first half as the Panthers (10-2-1, 8-0-1) kept pace atop the Central League.

Conestoga 2, Garnet Valley 0 >> Ashley Bufano made 15 saves to keep the Jags in the game, but second-half goals by Nia Scott and Madie French (on a penalty kick) gave the Pioneers the full points.

Harriton 5, Upper Darby 1 >> Jess Liberio scored in the first half for Upper Darby and Alyssa Hanrahan made seven saves, but Filippa Graneld’s brace helped pace the Rams.

Lower Merion 1, Springfield 0 >> Shannon Cutcliff stopped seven shots, but Isabelle Kusvyk converted a first-half penalty kick for the Aces.

In nonleague action:

Episcopal Academy 2, Hun School 1 >> Lily Shaner came through with the overtime game-winner. Lauren Cunningham scored the opener off a feed from Lauren Rodio.
