King’s early goal keeps Strath Haven unbeaten in league

In the 14th minute, Liz DeCarlo found Lizzie King off a throw-in and the 2015 Daily Times Player of the Year delivered to help Strath Haven (9-2-1, 7-0-1) remain unbeaten in Central League play with a 1-0 victory over Harriton.
In the Bicentennial League:
The Christian Academy 1, Christopher Dock 1 >>The Crusaders held on for the draw thanks to strong goalkeeping from Madison Dutton (10 saves). Grace Gormley scored a second-half goal for TCA.
In the Catholic League:
Archbishop Ryan 1, Archbishop Carroll 0 >> The Patriots were unlucky not to get something out of a game in which they had a first-half goal disallowed. In addition to that call, they held the Raiders off the board for most of the contest.
Madison Taylor finally broke the deadlock with six minutes remaining. Grace Gallagher was superb in goal for Carroll (4-5, 4-4) with eight saves. She was helped out by defenders Lara Ramirez, Claire Boylan, Divonne Franklin and Morgan Rake.
In the Del Val League:
Chichester 4, Interboro 0 >> Megan Carroll (two goals, two assists) and Monigo Karnley (two goals) took care of the offense, while goalie Mackenzie Sendek posted a clean sheet with three saves.
Faith Sahre made five saves for the Bucs.
In nonleague play:
Ridley 2, Cardinal O’Hara 0 >> The Green Raiders scored twice in the first half and held on for the clean sheet. Rylie Butler opened the scoring off a Vicky Zielke cross. Kaylee Smith netted a second for Ridley just before the half. The Lions held the majority of the possession but couldn’t break down a strong Raiders back line. Sydney Zimmerman made eight saves in goal for Ridley.
