Alana Pergine (seven kills, six service points, two aces), Jordan Shemonski (five kills, 11 service points, four aces) and Dana Shaffer (26 assists, 15 service points, six service aces) were the statistical stars for PJP (9-0), which remained atop the league standings. Mary Kate Mooney and Mikaela Monroe chipped in with a respective seven and five kills while Maggie Bevenour added 10 digs.
Michelle Frank had three kills and digs to key Owen J. Lily Jakielaszek added seven digs, and Mikayla Johnson contributed two kills.
Spring-Ford 3, Phoenixville 0 >> The Rams swept their PAC duel with the Phantoms by set scores of 25-9, 25-18 and 25-10.
Phoenixville’s game leaders were Tessa Lochetto (14 digs), Kayla Grammerstorf (two aces, five blocks) and Romina Broglia (two aces, four kills, four digs).
Perkiomen Valley 3, Methacton 1 >> The Vikings won their PAC match with the Warriors after spotting their hosts a 25-22 first set. PV came back to run the table 25-21, 29-27 and 25-18.
The Vikings’ statistical leaders included Helena Clauhs (19 kills, 15 digs), Ellie Min (25 assists, 14 digs) and Ava Guarnaccia (13 digs).
Daniel Boone 3, Conrad Weiser 1 >> The Blazers opened their Berks match with the Scouts by winning the first two sets, then came back with their best showing of the night after CW avoided the sweep. Boone’s set wins were by scores of 25-12, 26-24 and 25-8 while Weiser took the third, 25-10.
Madison Kessler had nine kills, three blocks and two aces to lead the Blazers. Kerri Kearns had seven kills and one block; Devon Haag added 22 assists, two kills and seven aces; and Hailey Schinski had six kills.
Perkiomen School 3, Kimberton Waldorf 0 >> The Panthers swept their match with Kimberton by set scores of 25-20, 25-8 and 25-19.
The solid serving of team captains Frances Del Torro and Lilly Henderson was key to Perkiomen’s win.
West-Mont 3, Collegium Charter 0 >> The Wings swept their match with Collegium by set scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-21.
