Dylan Williams enjoyed his trip to John F. Byrne Golf Course Wednesday afternoon.
The Bonner & Prendergast sophomore sunk four birdies on a 3-under-par 30 to lead the Friars to an impressive 215-264 victory over Archbishop Ryan.
Williams holed three of his birdies on par 4s on the par-33 layout, and the Friars snuck all six scorers under 40 to remain in the Catholic League title picture.
Pat Lord and Chris Huyette followed with 36s, and brothers Joe and Rob Dougherty each shot a 37 for Bonner (10-1, 8-1).

St. Joseph’s Prep 229, Archbishop Carroll 247 >> James Kelly and Dan Crossan each fired 38s at Cobbs Creek Golf Club, but they couldn’t keep pace with Prep. Andrew Gallagher and Mike Leenan led the way for the Hawks with even-par scores of 35.
In the Central League:
Strath Haven 199, Ridley 235 >> Ben Newlon birdied twice at Springhaven Country Club in posting a season-low 38 to help the Panthers break 200 for the first time this season on their home course.
Kevin Smith shot a 36, and David Merz checked in with a 37 for the Panthers (6-3, 6-3).
Devon Tavani led Ridley with a 42, and Tommy Loftus added a 43.
Garnet Valley 207, Springfield 219 >> The Cougars’ Andrew Todaro feasted on his home Springfield Country Club course with two birdies for a one-over 36, but the Jags; depth won the day.
Sean Kelly led the way with a 39 for GV, followed by Mason Hudock at 41. But the 42s registered by Jake Sokalsky and Kunal Gupta led GV (3-7, 3-4) to the away win.
Colin Wynne shot a 40 for Springfield (6-8, 5-6), but he and Todaro were the only Cougars to break 45.
