The Butlers did it for Notre Dame in league opener

Emma Butler set the offensive tone with 18 assists and six aces as Notre Dame opened Inter-Ac play with a 3-0 victory over Springside Chestnut Hill.

Elise Butler (12 kills, five aces), Lexi Shreiner (six kills, six aces) and Allison Hendrick (nine kills, four aces) were strong in the hitting game for the Irish (5-2, 1-0).

In the Catholic League:

Cardinal O’Hara 3, Little Flower 0 >> Charlee Borcky pounded 11 kills to pace the Lions (5-2, 2-1) to their second straight win. Kiki Daly (six kills, two aces, five digs) and Meghan MacWilliams (14 assists, four digs, three aces) also came up big for O’Hara.

Lansdale Catholic 3, Bonner & Prendergast 0 >> Maggie McPeak had 17 assists and 11 digs as the Pandas (4-2, 3-1) fell to the Crusaders, 25-19, 25-18, 26-24.

Caroline Goggin also was strong on defense with 14 digs. Molly Ryan and Kirstin Doogan led the attack with eight and four kills, respectively.
