Chester depth earns it a win over Penn Wood

Lamji Curray’s second-place finish was huge as Chester edged Penn Wood, 27-29, in the Del Val League. Tae’On Bradley-Chambers (fourth), Kenvon Mingeldoff (sixth), Corey Rochester (seventh) and Malachi Langley (eighth) also came up big for the Clippers.

Interboro 16, Academy Park 45 >> Billy Hallinan, Luke Crozier, Billy Betson and Kevin Williams swept the top four places to lead the Bucs. Harrison Warley placed fifth to lead the Knights.

Girls Cross Country

Interboro swept nine of the top 10 places to beat Academy Park, 15-50. Tymia Avery of AP was the overall winner in 26:04. Eden Luong took second for the Bucs.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Agnes Irwin 25, Episcopal Academy 30 >> Sanaiya Watts of Agnes Irwin was the overall winner, while Ariana Feliziani was the top finisher for the Churchwomen.

Notre Dame earns split >> Sydney Stribrny took third as the Irish fell to Germantown Academy, 18-38 and defeated Penn Charter, 25-32.
