Mercury-Area Girls Soccer Roundup: Graham shines for Phoenixville; Spring-Ford strikes late to top Boyertown

Spring-Ford 2, Boyertown 1 >> A two-goal second half for the Rams was enough for the team to come out victorious in a thrilling league matchup.

Libby Andrews and Elle Kershner finished with goals for the Rams with Laura Fazzini adding an assist.

Boyertown’s goal was scored by Maddy Monka, assisted by Kaleigh Gallagher.

Amanda Byrd made three saves in the win for SF.

Phoenixville 4, Pottsgrove 0 >> Dakota Graham had a role in all four Phantom goals scoring twice and assisting twice in a PAC Frontier Division win.

Graham set up goals for Julia Brown and Gabrielle Perrotto as Phoenixville led 3-0 at the half.

Goalkeepers Dina Corraro and Yadira Cruz combined for the three-save shutout.

Pottsgrove keeper Erin Carroll made five saves.

Pope John Paul II 4, Upper Perkiomen 1 >> Kayla Mesaros registered a hat trick as the Golden Panthers used a three-goal second half to come away with the league win.

Monica Rapchinski added a goal while Elizabeth Kropp added two assists.

Mackenzie Gebhardt scored Upper Perkiomen’s lone tally. Taylor Kearney added an assist.

Colleen Morton made five saves in the win for PJP. Hannah Landis made six saves for UP.

Perkiomen Valley 8, Norristown 0 >> The Vikings raced out to a 5-0 halftime lead before cruising to the eight-goal victory in league play.

Sydney Marasco and Samantha Penny each finished with two goals in the win. Kelsey Marino, Allison Cappelli, Karlee Ruth and Sophie Haas each tallied a goal for PV, which saw good goalkeeping from Leslie Adams and Kristen O’Donnell.

Upper Merion 4, Pottstown 0 >> Heaven Melendez and Quinn O’Malley each scored twice as the Vikings topped the Trojans in league play.
