Lindsey Haseltine made sure her 2016 debut would be memorable, pumping in four goals, as The Christian Academy finally celebrated its season opener with a 9-0 rout of Perkiomen School at home Monday in nonleague girls soccer.
Hannah Saryeka and Grace Gormley added two goals each, while Madison Dutton stopped five shots in posting the clean sheet.

St. Hubert 2, Archbishop Carroll 1 >> Bella Sorrentino converted a penalty kick midway through the second half, but the Patriots weren’t able to cash in several scoring chances down the stretch. Grace Gallagher (six saves) and Claire Boylan (five saves) took turns in net for Carroll.
Cardinal O’Hara 0, Hallahan 0 >> Kerry Patterson turned back all 10 shots she faced in posting the shutout for the host Lions.
Little Flower 5, Bonner & Prendergast 0 >> The Pandas couldn’t muster much offensive support for goalie Paris Banks, whose 13 saves kept the score respectable.
Conestoga 1, Council Rock South 0 >> Nia Scott converted a corner kick from Emily Wertz in the first half and that’s all the Pioneers (3-0-1) needed to stay unbeaten. Colleen Baldwin (two saves) and Maeve Regan (one save) shared the goalkeeping duties.
