Miller’s heads-up play is winner for Radnor

Jack Miller headed home a feed from Andrew Boujoukos in overtime, giving Radnor a 2-1 conquest of Upper Darby Thursday in a Central League boys soccer game.

Peter Miller also scored for Radnor. Mohamed Camara evened the game late in the first half for Upper Darby.

In other Central League matches:

Garnet Valley 3, Penncrest 2 >> Andrew Weir scored the game-winning goal in a scramble in the box, sending Jags to victory. Nate Ominsky and Matt Marino also scored for the Jags (2-1, 1-0), who got eight saves from Tyler Tracy.
Sam Brown and Shea Morgan scored for Penncrest.

Strath Haven 3, Ridley 0 >> Henry Wolfast paired a goal with an assist, and Kevin Stabinski and Josh Mason also tallied as the Panthers scored the victory.

In the Ches-Mont League:

Sun Valley 6, Octorara 0 >> Joey Cairy scored twice and dished three assists, and Zach Montgomery tallied a brace as the Vanguards (1-3, 1-1) rolled. Brendan Skwirut kept the clean sheet with five saves.

In the Catholic League:

Bonner & Prendergast 2, Conwell-Egan 0 >> Andrew Markopoulos and Theo Ijeboi scored, and Tony Harper made 10 saves for the Friars.

In the Bicentennial League:

Faith Christian 2, Christian Academy 0 >> Andre Jones made three saves, but the Crusaders hit the post three times in dropping their inaugural game in their return to the BAL.
