Outlook: The Panthers lost six players off last year’s 20-5 team, all of whom are playing college ball. They were key to Perkiomen reaching the championship game of the Pa. Independent Schools Athletic Association playoffs, where its hopes for a state-prep title were derailed by a loss to Malvern Prep. … “We have to replace a lot of positions, but especially catcher and third base,” Baker said. “We return our pitching staff, and it should be a strength. Our offense is a question mark, and our ability to hit and score some runs will determine how successful we are.”
