Girls Tennis: Zhang, Blake take doubles title in third-set tiebreaker

Garnet Valley teammates Marina Zhang and Emma Blake captured the Central League doubles title Saturday in a classic duel at HealthPlex, outlasting the Marple Newtown duo of Rylee Power and Emma Clancy, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7-4).

Another pair of Jaguars, Ananya Chandra and Richa Srivastava, fell in the fifth-place match but move on — along with the top five pairs — to represent the Central League in Thursday’s District One doubles tournament.
